Andrea Hart-Vann is the Probate Paralegal for the Firm. She was born, raised, and educated in the northeast, and comes to the Firm with an eclectic background.
Andrea trained as an opera singer at Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music, Oberlin, Ohio, and received a Bachelor of Music. She returned to her high school, The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) and taught private voice lessons. After working in higher education for many years, Andrea relocated to Georgia and began her career in the legal field.
Andrea has worked in the legal arena for nearly 20 years and is experienced in civil litigation, criminal law, financial transaction fraud, and has worked as an in-house government paralegal. She enjoys legal research and drafting complex pleadings.
Andrea is very involved in her community. Andrea currently serves on the District 4 Community Council for re-zoning applications and has served on the Parks and Recreation Board for DeKalb County, Georgia. She is a sworn Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children who are in the foster care system in her county.
In addition to having completed an undergraduate degree, Andrea received her paralegal training at the National Center for Paralegal Training, (NCPT) now defunct, and graduated cum laude. She is also a Registered Paralegal (RP); an additional certification for highly trained paralegals. In her free time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and their family, and participates in musical endeavors and amateur league tennis.
